Woman Shot Outside Bowling Alley
A woman was shot and fatally wounded outside of a bowling alley in the city of Carson early Saturday and was involved in an accident a few moments later as her friend tried to rush her to the hospital. The actual shooting occurred early Saturday morning in the parking lot of the bowling alley. A police officer in the area heard the gunshots and pulled over a car that was speeding away from the scene of the crime and all four passengers in the vehicle were detained. The fatally wounded woman's friend panicked and tried to rush her friend to the hospital so that she could get the care she needed. However, as they were speeding away from the bowling alley, the driver crashed and then the paramedics showed up. As the paramedics arrived at the scene of the crash, the shot woman was critically wounded and was immediately rushed to the hospital and underwent surgery. Unfortunately, it was too late for the young woman and she died shortly after surgery. Police still do not know the motive of the shooters or if the victim was affiliated with any gangs.
